Breath-Work & Restorative Yin
Breathwork & Restorative Yin
This is a slow, passive practice that allows us to slow down the body and the mind and come into our restful state, our parasympathetic nervous state.
Beginning with the use of breathwork, we can alter what state were in. While we are in this relaxed state body & mind in each pose, we can get down deep into our fascia, our connective tissue throughout the body, allowing it to soften & release.
Spending a little more time in each pose with the support of props allows us to relax, reaching that sweet spot in each pose that we can hold and breathe and relax into, tuning into the physical sensations of the body.
This is also a meditative & mindful practice of silence & stillness.
Feel relaxed, rested & grounded with a new sense of mind & body awareness.
This can be done on its own, after a workout, or just before bed.
